I have attend many weddings dinners and one thing i dont like about wedding dinners is guest not being punctual and arriving late. I appreciate guest arriving on time for wedding dinners.
First, we can start on time, eat earlier and go home earlier. No time is wasted waiting for the arrival of guest. I recently, attended a wedding dinner last week and they served refreshments at 6.45pm and registrations starts from then onwards. The wedding dinner officially starts at 7.30 pm.
Guest came early for the refreshment and registration, entered the ballroom before 7.30pm and started sharp at the proposed time.
It was held on a sunday, so means work the next day. There were two speeches made followed by the food presentation and EAT. After an hour or more, the bride and groom accompanied by the parents went table to table to greet the guest. The wedding dinner ended early around 10 something pm. Got home, showered and off to bed around 11 something pm.
So you see no time wasted there on waiting for the arrival of guest. On the other hand, ReGirl had to attend a wedding dinner at KLANG! She carpooled with a friend so she had to go earlier than the time of the arrival of the guest. Knowing malaysian time, most of the guest were late! And by the time they started the wedding dinner it was already 8.45pm. By the time the speeches and food presentation ended it was already 9.30pm. Okay then eat, eat, eat, drink, drink ,drink, yum seng, yum seng and it ended at 12pm, followed by KARAOKE.
She didnt have her keys with her, so i had to wait for her until 2 something am. So you see PLEASE ARRIVE AT WEDDING DINNERS EARLIER :p Thank you.
