some patience and time

I'm not very familiar with computer stuff but i do know enough just to maintain my computer. Sometimes its easier to just ask friends who are in the Computer or IT line about computer stuff.

Actually most of the time what we want can actually be found on the net, just use Google search. I recently bought a new HDD, a Maxtor SATA HDD. I've never add on a HDD before. So the first thing i did was to install the HDD into the computer. Plug all the neccessary cables and wires and screw the HDD onto the mount.

Then i turned on my computer and it appear at the startup. When my desktop shows, i cant seem to find this new HDD. So i was like WTF? then i tried looking all over the desktop, My Computer, here and there and i couldnt find anything. Then i resorted to asking a friend for some help but in the end he was too busy to help me out. Then i couldnt wait any longer i Googled it.

I went to the Maxtor website and looked at their support section and found an article about installing new HDD. I just followed the steps given and it turned out to be so easy. So all that was needed was some patience and time to search for it and just do it. Always try to do it yourself first before resorting to asking for your friends help(easier altenative).

old travel pictures

was speaking to a friend this afternoon about angkor wat, she was asking me stuff about angkor wat. This made me dig out my angkor wat pictures to share with you all.

The mighty mighty angkor, standing tall with its five towers symbolising Mount Meru. If you dont know about the history of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge then you can't really say you`ve been to cambodia. It was a terrible time for all Cambodians, the genocidal Khmer Rouge took over and started mass executions. From my point of view it was a senseless act of psychotism(is there such a word?). Killing your own people to make way for your own benefits. Thinking that everyone should be uneducated and should only be farmers and produce food for the khmer rouge and starve to death.

People there are poor but friendly. You can always see a smile on their faces. To know more about their history read the book - "First they killed my father by Loung Ung".

Here are the pictures. Enjoy.
