Continuing from where i left off, holes were drilled and now its time to cut and file the unwanted parts out.

I hit a snag while drilling the holes for the grill, the acrylic cracked. So i got fed up and just cut a square hole in the center and decided not to stealth the lianli extension kit. I continued to file the slot load dvdrom hole at the top part of the front bezel. Time to file like mad.

The dvdrom slot and eject button was filed to shape. The grill that was supposed to be is now filed to a square and leave a square hole for the lianli extension kit.

Time for some test fitting. I needed to find out if the square hole in the center would fit the lianli extension kit. Looks like my measurements were correct and spot on.

The dvdrom slot is correct but the eject button needs to be filed futher more. Measurements for the dvd burner had to be re-aligned. I re-masked it to make sure that the dvdburner tray will fit through the square hole that is about to be cut out.

Drill, drill, drill... Holes were drilled for the dvdburner tray and the blow hole at the bottom. Those look like bullet holes :)
Enough of drilling and filing, stay tuned for the next update - PSU SLEEVING...
