From marathons to hiking to gaming...

The "Power 10KM Run" was rather interesting going through Bukit Tunku, the uphill and downhill was rather challenging.

This time around i faired much better as i still had stamina to run and look around at the luxurious properties at that area.

I came in at 1hr 15min, 10 minutes slower than before mainly due to too many family dinners, lack of practice and not enough sleep(EXCUSES). The Bukit Tunku hill was not the real main issue, it was JLN DUTA which was the issue!

It is long and is ascending and descending... It was a really long and mental part of the race... Crossed the finish line within time and got my certificate and called it a day. My muscles did not ache as much as my first race, so i guess my muscles are seasoned.

I still manage to go hiking 4 days after the race so i guess i`m getting back into shape. We went to Gunung Nuang this time around. Its located in Hulu Langat. This mountain has one/two waterfalls along the way up... the trek is nothing difficult but its up all the way... no descend and minimal flat paths. Its up up up all the way. Due to the speed and size of the group we only made it to the campsite and turned back after having lunch or else we would be coming down the mountain late at night.

Then came the weekend, which was PLAYING GAME weekend. I bought Guitar Heroes 3 : Legends of Rock and Mariokartwii. Both games comes bundled with additional devices. It was rock jammming and lots of driving during the weekend. The Gibson designed guitar was a pleasent to use and the mariokart wii steering wheel is the cutest darn thing. My brother just got his PS3 and we played Rainbow Six:Vegas which i lost the plot of COVERT OP! hahaha i went in like John Rambo in Rambo 4! hahaha
