typical malaysian

This was the word(typical malaysian) used by the radio dj describing a contestant on the radio game - "DON'T SAY IT"!

This is how the game goes, two participants, each taking turns to give clues to a word given and the other party tries to guess what that word is. Very simple and straight forward game. Difficulty lies in the word given.

So todays game starts at its usual time around 8++am. The first contestant was given the word "MEDIA". She gave such complicated clues - newspaper, tv, communication. Instruments for communication. It starts with an M(she is not suppose to spell it out either but was not penalized for it). In the end the other contestant guessed advertising. So contestant #1 didn't win anything. She definately didn't deserve it either. She could have just said "another word for PRESS?"

So it was the other contestants turn. She was given the word "SMELL"(for me this is like a sure win situation - so damn easy rite). She started off by saying - "what do you use your nose for?". The moment the other contestant answered "BLOW"(i was saying to myself, this lady is so damn "CHAO"). Who the hell would say you use your nose to BLOW! and the next guess she gave was breathing(still acceptable) but the last one just clearly says "I'm a sore loser and if i don't win, so will you" she answered "RESPIRATION". She must have been a PHD or a medical person.

When the time was up(15 seconds to answer the question) the DJ said i like your first answer BLOW, use your nose to blow ahhh... so typical malaysian. I don't know if he had a sacarstic meaning to it. That sentence can go both ways.

#1 - malaysians like to blow their noses - typical malaysian.
#2 - if you lose make sure the other party loses as well, sore loser - typical malaysian?

so DON'T SAY IT! hehehe
