"Human Fish", proteus anguinus, a creature adapted to the eternal subterranean darkness. The human fish is up to 30 centimetres long and has no eyes—it does not need them. It has no protective pigment either, and its skin is a similar colour to that of Caucasian human beings—hence the creature’s name.
